What it is

How it works
After Hours combines ingredients with different roles in sleep and wakefulness. Doxylamine is a sedating antihistamine. Trazodone acts on serotonin signaling and can cause drowsiness. Melatonin helps signal the timing of the body’s sleep–wake cycle. These effects can overlap, so next-day drowsiness is possible; use only as prescribed.

The ingredients in After Hours have been studied individually, but that research does not establish the effectiveness or safety of this exact three-ingredient ODT. Trazodone is used off-label for sleep, and evidence for melatonin in chronic insomnia remains limited.
